Sitting Down And/Or Pacing Around #3

From the Overlord Bear’s Den: Just had to share this enlightenment for readers. Enjoy! JHT

The Overlord Bear's Den

Fiction, if you ask me, is supposed to work as a reality simulator. Maybe some think that fiction is their escape from reality, but fiction is based on reality. Even if we consider it an escape from reality, we never have escaped reality, we still haven’t escaped reality, and we never can escape reality. Why not make fiction train us to become better people? And they’re supposed to have meaning and guidance, ’cause we all look for meaning for guidance, ’cause a story that has no meaning and guidance is a worthless story, ’cause we want to understand the truth. And hey, maybe non-fiction can also work as a reality simulator. To understand and face reality better, we must see it from the perspectives of other people. JOSEPH’S SURPRISE GIFTS

Hi Everybody,Joseph Land, Spokeskid for Literacy (2)

It’s me again, Joseph Land.

Woo Hoo!  Have I got good news for you.

My new book, JOSEPH’S SURPRISE GIFTS, is finally out, just as Miss Turner had promised.  It’s available in paperback along with a free Kindle version, or you can just purchase the Kindle version for $4.99.   It’s a win-win bargain either way.

It is such a pleasure serving as Miss Turner’s muse.  She always listens very carefully to my thoughts and suggestions. We make a terrific writing team.

You’re going to enjoy my new Joseph Land series, because in the story I’m trying to figure out what to get for my grandparents’ golden wedding anniversary. They’ve been married for 50 years! Wow, that’s a LONG, LONG time! So what do you get for folks who have everything?

When you read my story, maybe you can help me find clues on what to get them. That would be so cool.

Well, it’s past my bedtime. Let me know what you think of my book, and I’ll be sure to tell Miss Turner.

Take care,

Your buddy, Joseph Land

P.S.  If you don’t have a Kindle, no worries.  Just download the Kindle app from Amazon.com to your computer, phone or tablet.  Simple as 1, 2, 3.   🙂
